Cart Calculator Shipping Rate: No Value Amount Output on Cart page . .

Hello Woo,

Updated Woocommerce FedEx Shipping plugin to 3.4.12 from 3.4.10 (the only shipping rate plugin in-use) . . and since that very moment Cart shipping calculator refuses to give any shipping value amount after the requested/ required data is entered . . Ignoring the failure to communicate (i.e. deliver) the calculated (FedEx) shipping rate we press/ click the ‘proceed to checkout’ button and land at the checkout page where the shipping rate data is, still, absent but a more meaningful message encourages the buyer to complete their address for the shipping rate addition/ update . . and entering any single character, in the address line, immediately activates the plugin and the relevant and likely correct (FedEx) shipping rate data is provided . . frankly that’s odd behaviour . . (and probably unintentional) . . but also unavoidable despite our best attempts to eliminate any possible intervening negatives ~ thus without change to the described persistent outcome . . sigh . . Sooo, we rolled back to 3.4.10 to be sure we are not having a mental episode and confirmed our findings ~ (FedEx) shipping rates again consistently delivered by the plugin to the Cart shipping calculator and upon landing at the checkout page, with any, auto, updates as address data may change . . and so we sit on 3.4.10, for now, else disable the Cart calculator option in the WooCommerce settings ~ not yet . We, firstly, trialled the 3.4.12 on our DEV install and all went well . . no problem with the (FedEx) shipping data delivery to the Cart shipping rate calculator . . which carries through to the checkout page and so on . . All Good . . Yet we are stumped at the LIVE install with the, unexpected, described behaviour and we do operate DEV and LIVE upon the same hosting platform and near exact same configuration . . The WoCommerce status read(s) is(are) All Green and good . . LIVE install Debug shows the plugin to be operating within normal established parameters and seemingly returning the LIVE Fed EX shipping rate data back to the Cart as usual, and as before the plugin update, ~ but that shipping rate data ain’t showin’ . . Regret the mind-twisting here but we are unable to describe the plugin behaviour as consistent but rather persistent and we are at ‘go figure’ for the offending code/ configuration .

Hopefully we are able to experience that ‘gotcha’ moment and would be humbled to learn of our own oversight or omission as the root cause of our momentary grief . . until then we do seek any remedy you may be able to salve . .
