Hi, have picked up on the following two issues with the checkout/cart:

    • The sub-total amount for the tickets purchased shows as 0 in the cart. The cart total is correct, but the subtotal next to the event tickets isn’t.
      https://jmp.sh/tRGF0z0s
    • One can’t edit the ticket details, so the only way to add more tickets for the event is to go back to the event and add more, but when you do that, it clears your entire cart, including product you might have had in it and other tickets etc.

PS: Am using Divi, WooCommerce, Dokan, Eventin together

    Hi @maginem,

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

We have checked that and found that the issue is generated from your theme, if you use the WooCommerce cart or the classic cart then this issue is not generated. However, we will check that issue too.

Secondly, you can not edit or add quantity in the cart option for the tickets. The reason is there if you want to manually add or delete a ticket item from the cart then where it will get the attendee information? So you have to come cart page through the attendee form fillup page. And the issue you are talking about has not been generated on our end ever and working fine, please share some details about the issue to understand properly. If you can, please share a short video of your issue with the explanation.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I am aware that the issue could be theme related, but you guys do say that your plugin is compatible with Divi… so it should work.

With regards to the editing of the ticket, what if I wanted to edit the attendee information of that ticket purchase? Surely there should be a way to edit my ticket purchase before completing the checkout without having to re-do the ticket purchase. So with that, one should be able to add/remove number of tickets.
I’ve tested the cart clearing with the standard 2024 WP theme and the same thing happens. If I add a ticket to my cart for an event and then add another ticket for an event (it can even be from the same event), the entire cart is emptied and only the new ticket is available in the cart. I.e., I can’t add more than one event ticket to the cart.

    Hello @maginem,

I’d like to clarify that the subtotal amount you’re seeing is generated by WooCommerce’s default system. If you need a fix for this, please reach out to us through the PINNED post, and we’ll do our best to provide you with a beta solution.

Regarding adding event ticket amounts to the cart, it’s a bit more complex than standard products. Allowing ticket quantities to increase raises questions about attendee information—such as whose details would be collected and how they’d be managed. Event tickets require specific attendee details, which complicates simply increasing the quantity.

Example: You filled 2 attendees’ information, and now on the cart if you want to increase it to 3 then no 3 how does it get attendee information? We are using WooCommerce to only take payments.

Additionally, we currently don’t allow tickets to be purchased for multiple events in one transaction. We already told you the details about it.

Thank you for your understanding, and if there’s anything further I can help clarify, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

Hi, thank you for the feedback.

I have sent an email regarding the sub-total issue.

I now also understand that Eventin does not allow for tickets to be purchased from different events at the same time and one also can’t update ticket information prior to checkout.

But one issue that has come up and I don’t think is correct is that because I have Eventin activated on my multivendor setup with Dokan & WooCommerce, I can’t purchase product from the marketplace from different vendors. Surely Eventin should have nothing to do with my product purchases if I’m not purchasing an event ticket?

Hi, I don’t think you are understanding my second issue…

With Dokan & Eventin installed together, I can’t add multiple PRODUCTS from multiple vendors to my cart. I get an error and warning and can’t checkout. Surely Eventin should not prevent me from purchasing PRODUCTS (NOT EVENTS) in my multivendor store?

Again, I am not wanting to add multiple EVENTS (as I am now aware that this is not possible), I want to purchase PRODUCTS, but can’t. Single seller mode is OFF in Dokan, but it still doesn’t work. It only works when I deactivate the Eventin plugin.

    Hi

Yes, the misunderstanding is that we may have failed to tell you that this option is also not available right now with Eventin due to having some restrictions. We are trying to re-implement this and hoping to add it asap. And we are trying to give you a solution ASAP.

When we are done we will let you know.

    Hi,

Ok. It makes no sense to restrict Dokan’s functionality with Eventin. The reason we purchased Eventin was because we want to setup a multivendor store, allowing users to purchase event tickets or product from multiple vendors.

Our deadline to get the site live has been seriously compromised by the bugs and lack of functionality in Eventin. We will most likely have to consider an alternative if this can’t be sorted out.
