    On https://rentfreegascylinders.co.uk :

When adding a product to the basket and clicking cart button it shows Royal Mail Live Rate options instead of ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’ which is supposed to show.

Woocommerce has ‘Hide shipping costs until an address is entered.’ ticked.

    On https://bbqgasbottles.co.uk :

When adding a product to the basket and clicking cart button it shows the correct message: ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’ which it is supposed to show.

Woocommerce has ‘Hide shipping costs until an address is entered.’ ticked.

Both sites are the same but the rentfree one shows the wrong message.

When adding a Flat Rate I just get product sub total on cart page and flat rate gets added when I input my details on the checkout page.

Royal Mail Live Rates don’t appear anywhere.

Ok, could you please paraphrase? I don’t understand. When you add a flat rate, do you get the notice in the cart, the one which you want to show? Does it work as you want?

No, doesn’t work as it should – I don’t get ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’ message – I just get the product price as a sub total.

It’s only when I input the address on the checkout does the flat rate shipping appear. Your Royal Mail Live Rates don’t appear anywhere, not even as an option.

Honestly, I am not sure what is the problem right now. When I enter your site and put product into the cart, I got a notice “‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’” – https://take.ms/Uyuo2.

Here is a screenshot that the CLIENT took when he saw the same issue I was seeing.

    How can this be?

If the client entered address before, WordPress could remember it. I would recommend verifying it after clearing cache and cookies. You could also check it in incognito site.

    I still have this issue.

I have the ‘Hide shipping costs until an address is entered’ ticked in WooCommerce settings but it is still showing shipping options on the cart page.
I have tried using Incognito mode in Chrome and Private Tab in Firefox so as to bypassing any caching but still get shipping costs displayed when it should say ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’.

When I deactivate Royal Mail Live Rates plugin it all works as it should – I get the ‘Shipping costs are calculated during checkout’.
I have 2 additional shipping zones with rates in payment settings (including flat rate) and this works correctly when your plugin is deactivated.

As soon as your plugin is activated again, it shows your rates on the cart page – which is incorrect.
