Cart gets emptied when account is verified

This plugin is working great for me, except for 1 big issue. When a new visitor has items in their cart and has to set up a new account and verify their email, their cart is empty upon logging in. The email verification process works smoothly. This happens with email and manual verification.

Any other time when a registered user has items in their cart, logs out, and logs back in, the cart is still there. It’s only when they are first verified that this issues is occurring.
