    Hi,

I’ve encountered a problem with a issue with the cart.

Items added to it are displayed at and inflated price

e.g. https://www.bostonbullion.com/product/buffalo-gold-1-oz/ which is $1,552.40 is displayed in my clients site as $1,696.57.

But when you proceed to check out it is displayed correctly.

The problem is my client is loosing leads because of this error in the cart.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can you send over a screenshot of your client’s tax settings in WooCommerce?

I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply. It works with Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

    Thanks,

    Hi Joey,

Sorry for the delay for some reason I could not get snipboard to capture the correct screen.

Will this link to the screenshot via the google drive work?

    Hello @wsps,

That’s really puzzling. I added that product to the cart. The price went up when I viewed the cart, but then back down when I made it to checkout. Taxes are set to be itemized, but I didn’t see any mention of taxes either in the cart or at checkout. If I go back to the cart after visiting checkout and refresh my browser, it still shows an inflated price.

Do you have a copy of your live site for testing? If not, I would suggest setting up a staging site. Many web hosts have these available. You can also use the WP Staging plugin to create one.

Then go to the staging site. See if the problem exists there. If it does, then disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and switch to the Twenty Nineteen theme. Then check again. If the price is consistent now, then try turning the theme back on and check again.

Continue turning on plugins and checking as you go. Once the price is off again, the last plugin enabled may be causing this.

Let me know what you find out.

    Cheers!
