What notices do you see on the cart page? Usually it’s an item out of stock which blocks checkout.

There may be another setting that’s conflicting here. Do you have any settings like pre-orders, minimum order, shipping restrictions etc?

I tried testing but I couldn’t add an item to my cart. Is your site working at the moment?

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:
    ?

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Is it a variable product? I had same issue and fixed it.

    Problem was:

Had minimum/maximum quantity settings in wrong place.

Fixed settings for this and it works fine again.

Check other products to see if they are working. If it’s only one or two, then it’s your settings and open up one that does work and copy the settings exactly. You’ll usually find where the problem is.
