Cart page not working after upgrade 8.5.2 to 8.6.0

I got same problem. Just updated Woocommerce and boom…cart page is broken with same error notif as Andy.

Errore: t.getAdditionalFields is not a function

Rollback the version. Worked for me in the meantime https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/

When you rollback to the previous version, is it necessary to rollback the database as well?

I went to the woo-commerce page that this user put into the chat and downloaded 8.5.2 and then went to the plugin page and add new plugin and upload plugin. I then chose the file and it asks if you want to return to the previous version.

It did change the database back automatically.

After the woocommerce was updated I had to purge caches and purge history from the browser. The cart page and checkout page started working.

It is never a good idea to update WooCommerce when a new version is released. I always wait around 2-3 weeks for any hotfixes.

Is there a fix on this yet? My site is unable to take orders.

Yep… Just read this link and follow the advice.
I have litespeed cache so I just cleared all transients and solved the issue immediately.
There’s a plugin linked from the article that you could try but any method you have for clearing transients should work.

I’m experiencing the same issue on my site with Divi and Woocommerce Subscriptions.

To add to @probablynotphil ‘s comment: it is strongly recommended to at least keep a backup, before any theme/plugin upgrades/downgrades and, whenever possible, test on a staging site first.

The button for the WooCommerce database version can be found in the screen at?‘WooCommerce > Status > Tools’, @petervdeynde.
