Cart page to wide

    Hello community,

    Since the update i have a problem with the cartpage altho i do not think it is because of the update. I have read other posts concerning the same problem else were but without any result. When i have added an item to my cart it gets 3 times as wide as it should be. Many spaces between al the collums etc (see picture). When the cart is emty there is no problem at all.

    I can not understand what the problem might be. The cartpage thinks it is a much bigger space but it is not. At the bottum of the page there is a scrollbar.

    https://www.samasamasilver.nl/nl/winkelmand/. Is it possible it has something to do with poly lang? The dutch version does not work and the english one does work.

    Your cart page has an extra none-standard html tag: “pre” which is causing the problem. I am not able to say where its coming from. However, rather than mess with the code, the fix is to add this to your custom css:

    
.woocommerce {
  white-space:normal
}

    If your theme does not have a setting where you can enter custom css, you can use a plugin like this one:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-custom-css/

    Please check round for unwanted side-effects on other pages.

    Thank you a lot for helping me out with this one! You were super fast and helpfull!!!! It works now.

    I am going to gues the problem is with elementor. The english version had no border and the dutchone has. English is not elementor and dutch is. The strange thing is. At first was the dutch page correct with elementor and the english page not (with elementor aswell).

    Thanks agian for your great help! You dont know how thankfull I am.

    I really wish to learn these kind of things aswell. Is it possible to tell me in short how you managed to see the problem and get the right css code?

    Ow, now i checked they are both without elementor (pagebuilder plugin) i find it strange one is within a border and the other not.

    It takes a while to get to grips with css.

    The dutch cart still has the “pre” element. This element is also providing the border, but you can turn it off with:

    What plugins are you using? Maybe we can find out what the real problem is. My homepage has the same problem. Have not tried to fix it with the css code but i am just curious why wordpress does this suddenly.

    It looks like the website is in some cases not responsife anymore and i “thinks it has to fill up space just like my shop cart.

    Plz let me know if you have too more responsive problemns.

    I Found the problem. The shortcode on my cart page wasnt correct there was 

     before it. When i removed that (via the text tab) it was solved.
