Cart Shipping Calculator – Show all shipping methods until address is entered

    Hi,

    I’ve seen lots of threads asking about hiding shipping methods, but I’d like to do the opposite.

    At the moment, WC seems to do the following:
    – Hide methods that are zip-code restricted
    – Default to free shipping methods if available and hide all other methods

    I’d like the calculator to:
    – Show all methods, including zip code restricted methods (maybe have them unselectable so the customer knows they’re there)
    – Even when a free shipping method is available, still show all available methods for the entered zip

    Is this possible?

    Hi @ibby,

    By default, WooCommerce will show customers the qualifying shipping methods in a shipping zone. Thus:

    – Even when a free shipping method is available, still show all available methods for the entered zip

    This is the default way already, free shipping is usually shown alongside other available shipping methods.

    – Show all methods, including zip code restricted methods (maybe have them unselectable so the customer knows they’re there)

    This might require custom coding to achieve. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.
