Cart sidebar quantity

    Hello,

    We are using your plugin in our shop and noticed a problem while having the Cart sidebar quantity option enabled for the off-canvas cart. Let’s say an individual product has a min-quantity and quantity steps of 10. Adding a product with set quantity steps works perfectly fine on the product page quantity selector as it will increase by the set quantity steps. This will also work fine on the cart page. Only in the sidebar/off-canvas cart it is still possible to increment, decrement the quantity independently of the set quantity steps. Unfortunately this will then also be the updated quantity on the checkout page. Is there any solution for this problem?

    Could you share the site’s URL? If you could share some screenshots with descriptions or a screen-recorded video it will be easy to understand it better.

    Hi @porodmed,

    Our controller is based on the Product and Cart page only. If you want to add the controller to any sidebar or off-canvas maybe you have to customize the code.

    Could you please share your website link? How do you use the sidebar/off-canvas cart? is it from your theme? Which Theme you’re using?

    Hi, we are using this theme: https://shoptimizerdemo.commercegurus.com/. If you add something to the cart you can adjust the quantity in the sidebar cart as well but it will work individually no matter what quantity step is defined per product.

    It seems like the step quantity for this product hasn’t been set. The screenshot you shared isn’t very clear, so could you please explain the issue in more detail? This will help us understand better and test it on our end.

    Hi, so this screenshot just displays the sidebar which also includes the possibility to update the quantity. So assume product A in this theme has a minimum quantity and a quantity step of 10. A user will add this product to the cart on the product page where it’s only possible to add 10, 20, 30 … quantities. At the same product page or any other page opening the sidebar, which also includes the field per product to update the quantity, it is possible to update the quantity by 1 and not by the quantity steps, which are defined per product. So like this a user can order 1, 2, 3, 12, 17, 29…… instead of 10, 20, 30 … This is the issue which we face.

    Could you please make a video recording of your screen to show us the issue you’re experiencing? We checked the URL you provided, but we haven’t been able to find any issues like the ones you mentioned. Seeing a video of the problem would help us understand it better.
