Was working fine for at least a year now suddenly the cart doesn’t appear when the add to cart button is clicked.
A day before I noticed this issue, my site was down for a few hours due to the url being changed. The site is back but now the cart doesn’t work any more.
I ended up not keeping the url change, so it’s the same as when the cart was working. I also disbled Wp Super Cache plugin. Otherwise nothing has been changed on the site.
Any help appreciated! I’m losing saies!

I just disabled all 20 of my plugins and tested, still no cart. I’m using the latest version of wp, Fukasawa theme, which is also current and supported. It’s been several months since it’s last version and update so It’s not due to a new theme bug.

I entered https://foursticks.net. I will try reinstalling a fresh copy.
Just a reminder, this issue happened after I accidently changed my url AND accidently changed the website for the primary domain for my hosting account. However all that has been reversed and corrected.

I reinstalled and still no change. Also tried “Ultra Simple Pay Pal Shopping Cart” and had the same problem. I even tried it with the default theme and in different browsers.

You have tried everything possible. Have you tried contacting your host about this issue? Can you also check the server log files?

Seems like a caching issue to me. Have you resently added a caching pluign to your site? Or enabled caching via a plugin that offers that functionality?

not recent, I’ve been using WP Super Cache for about a year. I did try clearing the cache, also tried disabling all plugins including super cache.

If this were something on the server end, what might I be looking for?
seems that the plugin cant write to the log file? I didn’t change any permissions. As I said before, I had an incident where I changed my root domain, also my site url. However I resolved that. Since then I’ve been doing a lot on the site and have no other issues with any other shortcodes, or anything else.

Hi, if everything was working well until you made the changes then what ever you did it obviously has not been fixed yet as per your comment below.

I reinstalled and still no change. Also tried “Ultra Simple Pay Pal Shopping Cart” and had the same problem. I even tried it with the default theme and in different browsers.

Even though you claim everything else is working fine as per your comment below. The above statement differs….

Since then I’ve been doing a lot on the site and have no other issues with any other shortcodes, or anything else.

You have checked your cache and state that it is not causing your issue. Are you also using CDN?

You might have to speak to your host about this issue.

I do suspect, naturally, that my changes on the server must have something to do with it. It’s the only thing that happened that was out of the ordinary.

And yes, I wasn’t entirely clear. I meant that all plugins (and I have 20) which I was previously using, are all working fine, except WPSPSC.

Ultra Simple Pay Pal Shopping Cart was a test only. So I thought it could be significant that it also didn’t show the shopping cart when add to cart is clicked.

Not sure if Jetpack’s “Photon” counts as a CDN. I’m not using the CDN option in WP Super Cache.

hey one other thing, when I went to my paypal account to edit the IPN, no url was showing in the field. I can’t remember if I entered it before, but I did enter it this time.

If you did not enter an IPN in the PayPal IPN settings then that could also cause issues. Have you carried out a test transaction?

I use paypal here for transactions every day. Is there a test transaction which applies to pay pal buttons?

Try and set up a product for $1 or less and get a friend to purchase it.

I don’t understand, if there’s no cart, how will they purchase?

    What do you mean by

I use paypal here for transactions every day. Is there a test transaction which applies to pay pal buttons?

Do you have other PayPal plugin installs? Or do you have other shopping cart plugins installed?
