Cartflow’s checkout has duplicate billing email and password fields.

    the Cartflow checkout page is displaying duplicate fields for the billing email and password creation. it is occurring on all sites that use the Cartflow checkout page. so we have created a new blank test site. However, the new test site was created with only the necessary plugins (Woocomerce,CartFlows,CartFlows Pro,Payment Plugins Braintree For WooCommerce,Elementor)installed to ensure that there were no conflicts with other plugins that could be causing the issue.

    To further confirm that the issue is related to the Braintree payment plugin, the checkout page was also tested with another payment plugin, which functioned correctly.

    Thank you for reaching out!

    I understand the email billing field is rendering twice on the checkout page when the CartFlows and Braintree are active.

    May I ask if this happens when CartFlows is disabled?

    Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report?

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Obviously, if we disable cart flow, the UI will be gone, then there will no duplicate entry. But we are using CartFlow for checkout.

    I understand your point of view but the people monitoring this forum can only help with Braintree-related questions so I’m afraid this might not be the best place to get help.

    I recommend reaching out to CartFlow’s support, I checked their threads and they offered premium support for someone with the same issue before.

    Alternatively, you can check this guide on removing checkout fields or hire a WooExpert to help you with a custom solution.

    Okay, Thank you. we are also using the pro version, so we can get support from there.
    I can remove the 2nd billing field, by unsetting the billing_email, by using ‘woocommerce_billing_fields’.
    Is there any hook, by which I can turn off user registration functions is running by payment plugin.

    I was rechecking the site’s system status report, and it appears the site is using a third party plugin to support Braintree, I want to clarify this is not our plugin which is Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway.

    For inquiries related to the plugin the site is using, kindly refer to this related support forum as well.
