Case Sensitive user names & Redirection error? (Word Press MU)

  • I couldn’t find this anywhere, but there’s so much on here I might have missed it. If so, my apologies in advance!

    Have an issue:
    lets say your username is blah … and you type in Blah for when you log in… you can still log in, but will get the following error:
    The page isn’t redirecting properly

    ??
    but then, if you back out and log in with blah, you are ok.

    My question for you all is, how can I prevent this from happening? (apart from stating the obvious “your username is case sensitive” stuff)

    Thank you in advance for any advice! FYI – i just downloaded the MU today from the nightly download link so it’s a brand new install, and this is my first time working with it, so i’m sure i’ll be in for more surprises still but so far so good (:
