I’m trying to use plugin cat2email, I’m trying to use it by putting a line of code in the sidepanel file, the plugin had very little documentation with it so I don’t know where it is supposed to be put so I can use it.

Has anyone used this successfully? What am I doing wrong?

I want to send an email to the person’s name you click on. I have a list of names, setup as links I don’t know how to get an email to specific people.

    Here’s the description for https://skippy.net/download/plugins/cat2email/cat2email.zip

“This plugin was designed to link a blog to a mailing list. The blog owner associates an email address with each category in the blog. Everytime a new post is added, an email will be sent to whoever is defined for that post’s category(s). ”

Thank you for the information. What I really want is something so I can pick a person from a list, click on the name, and that would bring up an email program so a message can be sent. Any ideas?

Trying to manage cat2email. but get this error when attempting to add new notification:

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in …/www/wp-content/plugins/cat2email.php on line 98

Is anyone using this plugin? Help configuring and managing this plugin would be greatly appreciated!!

anyway … i’m trying to use this plugins … without success !!! ??
I activated it and added an email for notification but it never send email when there’s a new post in the related category …

    any idea ?

Ahh, thanks Yaco. That error is gone now.

According to Skippy’s reply on the website, I think you are supposed to point notification to a mailling list, not an individual email. Haven’t got it working either (yet) but will try with the new version.
