Cat_limit not working in post_filter

Good morning!
First of all, let me tell you that I’ve looked for entire days for a plugin like this one and I’m really happy of it since other ones were rubbish and had a lot of mobile issues. I’m currently using this plugin at https://www.workingitaly.it but as you can see in the homepage, the pgaf_post_filter has an issue with the “cat_limit” attribute. Even if I set 10, it keeps showing me all articles. This is going to be an issue soon when my blog will have a lot of articles.
Is it possible to fix it?
This is the shortcode generated directly using the block in the page editor (no luck also using the shortcode generated in plugin section, in wp-admin)
