this is my current site and the images show up fine they were always just too small and spaced out

    Hello tashalong

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

The theme that you are using is the Storefront theme.
This theme is designed to show product images in 324×342 pixels size on the category page.
For better results, you should use the larger image sizes in the same aspect ratio of 18:19.

The storefront does not have a feature to show panoramic images as panoramic and square images as square.
I suggest you search for a theme that matches your requirements for displaying images correctly.

Let me know if you have more questions. ??

    Best regards.

    Hey, @tashalong!

storefront i was using seemed to do what i needed but i never found a way to make the images fuller sized on the screen

For the product images, you can have the image keep its original size on Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product images

But for the categories, it will remain 1:1/324×342.

As my colleague mentioned, you can switch to a theme that does not have this feature.

You can also look for a plugin that allows you to edit that.

You can search for “woocommerce category image size“, or something similar, on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

Please note that we do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.

Another solution, and a more advanced one, would be to change this with custom code. While we also can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources.

You can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
