Catagory within a catagory help

  • I haven’t had any luck getting questions answered here but maybe someone can answer this one.

    I am using collapsing links I have a category set up in it what I want to do is set up another category within that one then put in my links. I will try to give an example.

    The main title of this linked list would be products, the first category in the list would be lures in the lures category I want a sub category called spinnerbaits in this category I want my links to pages.

    So I want the lures category to expand to show all the sub categories such as spinnerbaits,crankbaits,jigs,etc I want my links to product pages in these sub categories.

    I am pretty sure this can be done but I have been screwing around with it for a while but can’t get it! Anyone know how to do it?

  • I know that this is not the way that this plugin was made to work. But I wasn’t able to find another one that could do this. With that said: use the plugin “zelist”. One of the functions it creates is Link Tagging & the ability for Link sub categories. Its Purpose is to make a directory for your Blogroll. if you don’t want the link directory it makes. Just exclude the pages that it makes for the directory…

    I retract the last statement… I found that only in the admin does the subcategory show as a subcategory
