I’ve just moved my site from a local installation to an online server, and everything is working the same except the catalog. The site shows that there is nothing in the catalog.

If I go to the plugin settings and look at the catalog page, there are no catalogs listed and at the top is a warning that says:

WordPress database error: [Table ‘ren1603309105561.wp_UPCP_Catalogues’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT * FROM wp_UPCP_Catalogues ORDER BY Catalogue_Name LIMIT 0,20

WordPress database error: [Table ‘ren1603309105561.wp_UPCP_Catalogues’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT Catalogue_ID FROM wp_UPCP_Catalogues

I’m getting a similar warning at the top of the products page.

Is there an easy way to get this to work or do I need to start over with the catalog?

    Hi rental,

How did you transfer the site from the local installation to the server? It looks like the plugin tables weren’t included in the transfer, which there are a couple of solutions to. The easiest way would probably be to just create the missing tables, export them in the local installation and then import them to the online tables.

I used All-in-One WP Migration to do the transfer.

How do I export the tables for transfer? I’m sure I’m missing some obvious way to do this but can’t find such an option for the plugin.

    Thanks.

    Hi rental,

You would need to export from the database. WordPress has its own tutorial on how to do it, with a step-by-step procedure.

Here is the link to it: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Backing_Up_Your_Database

Let us know if you need additional clarification. ??

While I did manage to get this to work, I have a feature request for you:

A section of the plugin with two buttons, BACKUP and RESTORE. A simple one click would back up every file needed for your entire catalog to your local computer, and it would be just as easy to restore. That would make life easy!

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Rental,

Glad to hear that it’s working now.

Thank you for the feature request. You can currently export all your products to a spreadsheet file and then import them into another catalog with all the same settings. Exporting products is a premium feature and is available at the bottom of the left side of the screen in the “Products” tab.
