• I have two things I need help with and they are sort of combined.
For the main blog – A template that have post boxes with date, topic and image (image from the post)
A plugin that will throw every new network blog post up in a new box on the main blog, without me having to add new boxes.
I did install Network Latest Posts, but it seems like it only update in the posts that are made on the main blog and doesn’t make new boxes on the main blog portal.
I already have a template with dates on that I actually like, but I need to remove the lower part “Recent Posts” if there isn’t another template more suited for my needs?

My multi site is for personal use only and I have now installed wordpress hoping that this isn’t to difficult to achieve. It became a pain doing it manually.

I hope someone can help me.

  • At my work we do something similar to this with a plugin called FeedWordPress (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/feedwordpress/) and combine that with the feed urls (add /feed/ to the end of your main URL for each site to view) but you can use any RSS feed you may want to use. I’ve seen examples of this plugin using Feedburner too. It may not be a complete solution but it might get you pointed in the right direction.

This seems to do it, if only I can figure out how to get post or featured images in the feeds.

Our post images usually come across with the feed but Featured Images usually need to be set for each post.

I have a featured image on every post, I also tried to add the image inside the text area, but non show up.
Wondering if it is png’s it doesn’t like. What format do you use?

Just tried with .jpg and they don’t show either.
I’ve been reading on the plugins forum and it seems to be an issue for some installations.
I tried with Auto Post Thumbnail plugin as well, but no luck. Another suggestion is a category image plugin, but I don’t want to reuse images for posts.
