• Hello again,

A fatal error occurs on only two of my pages where i use your great plugin…
What is strange is that i do not have the same error on all the other pages.

Here is the error message i get:
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to ithoughts\v4_0\Toolbox::get_permalink_light() must be an instance of WP_Post, null given, called in /home/clients/0fc12c66dff9479ef35304ee9f5be322/web/wp-content/plugins/ithoughts-tooltip-glossary/class/shortcode/Glossary.class.php on line 217 and defined in /home/clients/0fc12c66dff9479ef35304ee9f5be322/web/wp-content/plugins/ithoughts-tooltip-glossary/submodules/iThoughts-WordPress-Plugin-Toolbox/class/Toolbox.class.php on line 426

    What is going on?
    Any clue on this one?

Thanks a lot for your time
    Gad

Oh damn sorry I didn’t saw your post earlier.
This error is pretty unexpected, and I can’t tell what is the problem for now. What components are you using on this page? Tooltip or lists? Can you send me a copy of the shortcode that you are using? This may also possibly be influenced by (yeah, I’m very unsure about that) another plugin that changes the content management mechanisms, so it would be fine if you would agree to send me a list of your plugins.

I’m working on a full refactoring of the whole plugin, but it takes a huge lot of time, and I got my school & my startup to work on too. So it progress slowly and I’m not as active as I’d like to. Sorry…

    Hi

Have you found a way to work with this error?

I’ve released v3.0.0, I hope that it would solve your error by the same time. Can you check that out?

    Thank you

OK, thanks for the release of your 3.0.0 version

I just installed it and made tests.
Unfortunately the fatal error still persists.

But i found that there might be a incompatibility with another plugin called Documentor (https://documentor.in/).

Do you want an backend access to my website in order to check what is going on between the two plugins?

Thanks again for your great work,
    Gad

… And this is actually strange, because i use simultaneously both plugins on a dozen pages, and only two pages display this fatal error…

Wow, definitely really weird bug. Yeah, it would help if I had access to WP Backend and if possible a MySQL read-only access.

Please send me a mail at [email protected].

    Have a great day

    Gerkin
