• Hi,

I have just noticed an error when using your plugin, and it is quite a BIG one.

When using it in conjuction with Woocommerce (and WPML, not sure if that affects), when searching for products with the search widget, it works fine as long as you search something that you actually have in the shop. But if you use some none sense text or something you dont actually sell, it gives back the following error in a blank page

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/core/api.php on line 23

In my case and as a temporary solution, I found this online https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/catchable-fatal-error-on-search?replies=2

Which works like a charm. Im not going to lie to you, i dont know what it does or how does it actually solves it, but it does. The problem is that if you update your plugin, this will get broken again, which is not really a good solution.

Would you please fix this on your next release? I guess just adding the two lines of codes as it is suggested in the forum avobe would be enough… or maybe not…

    Thanks
    Kind regards

Just wanted to note that I’m also getting this error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /xxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/core/api.php on line 23

In my case, it’s on pages using Modern Tribe’s Event Calendar Pro plugin.

Try the solution i posted above, it worked like a charm for me. NOTE: it is actually 2 files you have to edit, just in case you did not spot it.
