• Could you kindly help fix the below issue?

    1) In the below blog post
    https://www.pineapplesinawagon.com/2018/05/02/walking-through-old-town-alexandria-waterfont/
under the title, the categories are shown as “In travel, United States, Virginia” and beside that is “Add comment”… I do not want the categories to appear like this below the title, how do I make them a drop down option when the cursor is pointed or clicked on the “blog” heading in the home page? When visitor places cursor on “blog” heading they should see a dropdown as United States (other countries as I add later)… and when the cursor hovers over United States, they should be able to see Virginia as one of the State options (other States should appear when added later). The idea of doing this is to have multiple categories based on which visitors can filter the content instead of having to scroll down all over the page to find what they want to read…

    2) And can we remove “add comment” from the top area and move it to below the post?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • There is no option to remove or more around the categories and comments tags by default. To do that, you will need to add custom code to the theme.

If you do not know HTML and CSS, you will need to hire a developer to help you modify the theme.

I’m not sure if I understood the second part of your question correctly, but if you want to add post categories to your menu:

    • go to Appearance > Menus,
    • add a blog page to your menu (this fill be the parent page)
    • then, in the “Categories” area find and add all your categories under the parent page to make them appear as dropdown pages.

I tried but it is not working. Can you pls let me know how to add parent category and secondary categories under a page title? eg: if you see the below blog created with the same theme, there are drop down options under headings “artworks” “bio”…
    https://joefisherstudio.com
and then they have sub-categories… artworks – on paper – drawings, paranormal, etc… I want to create similar dropdown for my page titles… can you pls help how to set this up?
