Greetings!! Im trying to understand categories. When I build my products on the right I can create and assign categories that the products appear in. However, when I go under posts and select categories none of the categories are listed except for “uncategorized”. I would expect all the categories I made would be there but none show up. Even when I got to theme customizer the categories dont’ exist. Why do the categories not show up under CATEGORIES? Doesnt make any sense. They exist in my products forms and I can create them there.

I have tried and tried to find out how to simply change the picture for my categories to something useful and not the ugly image that is there by default. Im using the Storefront theme. I deleted all the pics so naturally the icons no longer have the shirts in them. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put an image there. Im going to guess it is something easy. But Ive also seen where there are a large number of button customizers out there to customize buttons but says nothing about the category buttons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have looked for like 4 hours and just about ready to dump categories but I actually need them to find my products properly.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

On WordPress, you have categories for your posts, but once you add WooCommerce, you have separate categories for the products.

If you want to use the same categories for your posts, and haven’t created them yet, you’ll need to create them as you go. ??

For the Storefront question, I recommend asking at https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/storefront/ so the theme’s designers and support community can help you.

OHHHHHHHH!. That makes a helluva lot more sense. Categories for blog posts etc. Not product categories. I couldnt figure out why they seemed to be separate. Thank you for clearing that up. Which now means I need to focus on the Storefront theme made by woocommerce. I know it is in there somewhere. Sometimes they dont make it easy to make stuff work and you run across it while doing something else.

Ive got to figure out how to get an image in those placeholders.

    Thank you,
