Categories and archive links not working

    I have just installed the lastest WP on my server and am having problems with my perma links.

    I tried to follow the posts on this forum and the instructions as I understood. Still, my archives and categories link are not working.

    These are the steps that I’ve made:
    – Change permissions to 666 for .htaccess file on webhost’s control panel
    – Change permalinks to /%postname%/

    Can someone please help?
