Categories and Products no longer visible on shop page

    I can not work out what has happened. Have been playing with the theme and was really starting to like it until all the category images and links disappeared from the shop page. When accessing a category from the menu, that page is blank as well.

    I have tested with deactivating all the plugins and still the same, then tested with one of the default themes and everything is there as it should be.

    I have Shop page display set to Show cat and subcat, Default Category Display is set to show subcategories. I have tried all possible combinations of those settings and nothing is working.

    When you click on the product from the woo product slider in the footer, it does go to the product and you can see it.

    Where else do I need to look to fix this?

    Cancel the call for help… I found the problem, it was a piece of css code, all fixed once it was removed, even though it had been there for a week, suddenly it decided to take the website down.
