Categories and Sub categories mixing with product pages

  • Hoping someone can help on some of my pages i require a parent category and then child categories and then it goes into product details.

    But some of my products don’t require a child category for instanceI want to look at mains cables so i click thorugh and it take me to a page with options on for American mains cables, uk mains cable e.t.c i clickon american mains cables then it will present me with another page with different types of american mains cables you click on the one you want and the product page comes up.

    On some of my categories i want to miss one of the child catergories out, so i end up with on one of the child categories page 2 producsts that will click through to further child catgories but the other 2 pics click through directly to a product page.
