Categories are showing numbers but when clicked there are no posts.

    I know for a fact that my whole site only has 2 posts and one is a draft. I have created a bunch of categories, some of which are displaying the post numbers (either “1” or “2”). when I click on the categories that show they have a number of posts with in them — the site says “No posts yet!”

    Why are some categories displaying post numbers if there are no posts to show?

    I figured it out. I have a plugin which maps my categories to pages as well. I have pages which are being counted but not displayed when clicking on your plugin’s menu buttons.

    I’ll have to either switch to using posts only, or find a different categories menu plugin.

    Ah, yes I wish pages used post categories without a plugin. It’s difficult to handle such customisations in this widget.
