    Hi Everyone,

    I have a question that I hope someone can push me into the right direction. I’m trying to use the category slug as subdomains to each category of content. For example:

    Categories -> Subdomain
    Category = test -> test.domain.tld
    Category = test2 -> test2.domain.tld

    The WP Subdomain plugin doesn’t work anymore and I’ve contacted the author and received no response.

    I need to know the best way to do this. I know wordpress has multisite, however, for all that I know, that seems a bit of overkill for what I want to do.

    Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Drew

    Yea, definitely. I can’t even get in touch with the author; it’s like he’s dropped off the face of the earth, or doesn’t want to be bothered by anyone.

    Hi,
    you can use Subdomains Plugin. It will work for you. You can see this in action here https://pankajanupam.com and write to support.

    Hey Pankaj,

    I just tried your plugin on my local WordPress setup, but its not working properly.
    I guess there must have options to use particular category for subdomain. (NOT all categories).
    e.g. If I have a domain example.com and news is my category then it is showing news.example.com properly but when I under news.example.com section and try to go back by clicking home url then it shows me news.example.com only (NOT example.com).
    Another thing: If I have assigned two categories to same post (say Uncategorized and news) then the URL is something like uncategorized.news.example.com , which is something wrong.

    Can you help me out with these issues?
    If you want I can paste this issue in your blog also, but I guess to keep it public along with plugin support forum is good enough.

    Awaiting for your positive reply on these issues.

    Thanks,
