Categories disappeared after upgrade to 2.3

  • After i have upgraded from WP 2.2 to WP 2.3 i have the problem that the categories not show no more! In practice in the site (https://www.digitalking.it) shows only one category (Generale) with 34 articles posted; in the admin panel of category management i effectively had only this one and the others disappeared, so i had recreated the “old” categories i had in the 2.2 but still not shows anymore ??
    Not only that but also if i try to create a simple “AAA”… and as you can see from the image (https://img297.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screen02po2.jpg) under Action there’s only “Delete” and in the category that only one shows in the site there’s written “Template standard”, what’s wrong?
    I haven’t no one plugins for category management.
    Naturally i have a full backup of all, if there’s the solution i must come back…

    ohh so scared, they didn’t show because they were empty, i mean no articles filled under them!
    However it’s strange happened this problem going to WP 2.3
