Categories in Pages

    I have 2 categories in my blog.
    1/ Photos
    2/ Videos
    My problem is i added a third called Miscellance for just writing within my pages, it wont allow me to categorize within my pages, i have noticed it is set as default which is photos, which looks silly if it is just writing on that page and no photos are there. I can categorize within my posts. I would really like this to work.
    PLEASE HELP….

    Pages don’t have categories.
    Don’t mix Pages and posts.

    Is there anything i can do then, i want to keep notes in the pages but not under the default. Any suggestions would be very grateful.

    Wrong thinking. You do NOT keep posts in Pages. You keep them as a separate category.
    Make all your “notes” in the Miscell category as posts.
    The use a plugin to exclude that category from the main/home page. They will be visible only by clicling on the category name/link.

    PLugin: scroll up > Extend > Plugins > search for category excluder and similar keywords.
