Categories not being pulled out from the feed

    Hi everyone,

    I am using this plugin for my website, for which i am importing an RSS feed from another website. Till some time back, the plugin was importing only a certain category (as needed by me) and everything was working fine. A few days back, the plugin started to import every single post from the other website. I don’t know how to fix this and have tried getting the feed for only that category but that doesn’t work either.

    Any suggestions on how I can get back to only a certain category being picked up?

    Hi again,

    Just to recap, I am trying to import posts categorized as ‘Solar Rooftop’ from https://www.indiasolarmarket.com onto https://www.indiasolarhomes.com with images. The import is currently pulling all posts. Any help on this would be appreciated!

    Sorry for posting yet again.
    The solution we found was to use the RSS feed for only the category of the post that you want to pull.

    So in this case, the RSS feed became indiasolarmarket.com/feed/?cat=2541 or websitename/feed/?cat=category id.

    With this we only get the posts from the category that we wanted. After that we used the ‘RSS to post’ function to display the content the site that we wanted to show the content on (indiasolarhomes.com).

    Is this the best way of solving this?

    Yes. That’s the best way to solve this. If you only want to pull certain categories from a site, the site should provide a feed from that category.
