Categories not displaying

    I’ve got the post grid set up to show certain categories. But when I go to ‘D&D’, for example, it doesn’t show anything even though there are 12 posts in that category. For ‘Comic Art’ it shows 1 post, while there are 12 posts in that also. Movie Reviews? No posts found. Actual number of posts? 31.

    This used to find everything fine.

    Sorry for the late reply.

    Actually, it’s a default behavior of the isotope. Let’s explain- Suppose you entered posts per page equal to 12 and also selected a few categories like (A, B, C, etc.) for your layout.

    Now the query will try to pull the most recent 12 posts under those categories. If the query gets 12 recent posts from the A or B category you will never get posts from the C category. That means if posts of the C category are very old you will not get any posts from the C category. Because your block already got 12 recent posts from the A and B categories.

    Hopefully you understand that.

    N.B. But if you set -1 posts per page all posts will display on your block.
