Categories Not Saving

This problem may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to deactivate all plugins and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, re-activate them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to deactivate all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re still logged in without affecting normal visitors to your site.

@macmanx thank you for the help. Unfortunately, I’m still getting the same result after deactivating everything and switching themes. Could this be some caching or browser problem? I logged out of the site and back in and it didn’t seem to do anything either.

Please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser if it is not.

If it is, please do these two things:

1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

Please let us know how each step goes for you and which browser (and version) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

I’ve noticed that it only allows me to save certain categories. For example, we have categories for “travel” and “retail collections.” When I select “collections” it lets me save the blot post under that category, but if I select, “Travel” the check mark disappears and won’t save the category change when I try to apply it.
