    Hi i have an issue where i made product categories but in my shop page when i try to click a category it just shows the entire shop and does not separate what should be in each category.

    some example photos below

    as you can see when i click a category link is “product-category”

    but its showing products not in the category.

    Currently using detheme kit with elementor

    Please help with this fix

  • I would start by inspecting the template used to build the products archive (in elementor/templates/themebuilder) It might use an elementor loop grid widget. Please take a look at its query section. Feel free to send screenshots.

    It seems the entire shop page is being displayed when clicking on product categories, correct?

    Checking your site, I see what you mean as all product categories display the entire shop page.

    I’d like to take a closer look at your sites current environment, can you please share a copy of your sites System Status Report so that we can take a closer look at your sites current environment. You can find this via?WooCommerce?→?Status.

    Select?Get system report?and then?Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.

    In the meantime, can you head over to?Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks, and resave your existing settings, without making any changes to the settings and see if this makes any difference?

    If that makes no difference, can you please also share a screenshot of the Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks page. If you do not already have a screenshot tool installed,?Snipboard.io?can be used for easily sharing screenshots.

    On permalinks i tried to change it to default and deleted the product category base etc. but when i click save it doesnt do anything and just reverts to the same settings as shown

    Having said that, I checked your website and it seems the issue was solved as I can only see specific products on the category pages now.

    Can you please confirm if the issue is solved on your end too?

    If you are still seeing it wrong, please reset the router and try opening the site on a private window to make sure it is not a caching issue.

    Yep it works now! the issue was i used the product wiget instead of the archive product wiget lol.

    Same issue here. Categorized products are not being separated. Followed the above & they’re still not seperating.
