Categories not showing up.

  • I just installed wordpress and while setting it up. I created 10 categories and only 1 is showing up on the site. Why is this? How do I get them all to show in the sidebar? Also there is no way to post new topic. Am I missing something?

  • Do all 10 categories contain posts? Depending upon the theme used, empty categories are often hidden by default.

    Have you looked under Admin/Posts/Add New?

    OK. I posted a test to all categories and they are all showing now. Thanx

    I am using Holistic Teahouse 1.3 for a theme. How to people post new topics? All they can do is comment on my posts. How can they post new toics?

    They would have to register on your blog and then you would have to give them posting privileges by changing their status to contributor, author or editor.
