I need help. I’m still new to WordPress and have wasted about three hours trying to figure a problem out.

Here is my website https://www.eseaweednutrition.com/ If you go to the right side of the page to where it says “Seaweed Nutrition Topics” and then click on the topic, “Benefits of Seaweed/kelp” it takes you to a post. Here’s the problem I’m having.

There is no Reply box at the bottom of the page. However, if you click on the title of the post, “Seaweed Nutrition: How Seaweed Can Help You Lose Weight” its a link that when you click on it, it brings up the same blog post but now it has a reply box at the bottom of the page. I also notice that the font changes for the title of the post. What is going on here?

This happens with other links on the right side of my pages under “Seaweed Nutrition Topics”. I just can’t figure out what is going on. Can anyone figure this out? I really appreciate the help.

I think your problem is that you have only one post in the ‘Benefits of Seaweed/Kelp’ category.

https://www.eseaweednutrition.com/category/benefits-of-seaweed-kelp/ is your category page, which lists every post in the ‘Benefits of Seaweed/Kelp’ category. This will use category.php (most likely).

https://www.eseaweednutrition.com/2011/11/10/seaweed-nutrition-lose-weight/ is a single post and will most likely use single.php

The category template is using cufon font replacement to replace an H2, and on the single template, there is no cufon.

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for helping.

How would I fix it so I could have just one post under any of my categories under, “Seaweed Nutrition Topics” and still have people comment on it? It seems a bit odd to me that I would have to create two posts under each category just so people can reply to my first post? Do you know a work around for this?

    I really appreciate your help.

    OK, I found a solution.

My concern was that readers that came to my site wouldn’t know to click on the heading of my posts so they could reply to it. So, the simple solution was to put a “more” tag in the post to prompt readers to click on it to read the rest of the post. Once they get to that page, the comment box is there. I just have to see about changing the font for the category page.

Thank you for taking the time to help.
