Categories of Posts not shown in Backend for non-admin users

  • Hello! I am using the free version of iThemes. Categories are not shown in the backend when writing a new post (normal post, not CPT). It seems like they are not loading. For admins it is usually loading, but sometimes not.

    I have deactivated all other plugins to make sure that iThemes is causing this. Everything is up to date.

    Can anyone help solve this issue? I would like to keep iThemes.

    So, if a user doesn’t have the capability to manage categories, he is also not allowed to select categories when writing a post, if the plugin is activated. Is that intentional?
