Categories Pages Need Fixed

  • The categories pages are ugly. I need to do a redirect from my old site to the new one but I have to fix the page first.

    The big issue is that I cannot do redirects with a # so I have to redirect all the old pages to the basic category page and it is ugly. (ex. I would love to redirect https://www.colonialzone-dr.com/important_stuff-myths_legends.html#baca to this https://www.colonialzone-dr.com/el-baca/ but I cannot with the #)

    I want the category pages to only display a few lines of text of each page in that category but it is displaying the full pages inside the category. Either short text of the pages in the category or nothing so that I can add a short description and text with links to each page in that category.

    How can I do this? It is driving me nuts. I so need to get the redirects up and running.

  • Unfortunately there are no one of the official people who answer our questions in this support forum. I have no clue why, since this is an official theme by WP, and shouldhave been followed up by WP.
    I checked your “category list” and see what yoy mean. Theme 2014 doesnt have shortcodes, so you have to install a plugin who can give you the option. I use this one

    Unfortunately there seems to be a theme problem with the preview pictures in the lists you can make. They appears very small.
