Categories pages to show short text

  • I want the categories pages to have the text I write and a short version, maybe the title, feature image and a few lines of text, of the pages inside that category.

    Also, if thats not possible to just have the category page with a short descriptive text with links to each page inside the category.

  • Theme 2014 doesn’t handle shorcodes by itself, so you haveto install a shortcode plugin. I use this one, but due to a theme problem, it only gives small previews picture.

    Can I make it so only text I write shows in the category pages? Then I can make it a list with links to all the interior pages. This way when I have to redirect from all the old pages with # the people can at least find what they are looking for and not get frustrated.
