Categories redirects to blog posts

    The categories on my website are automatically linking to their newest blog posts even when I have no quick redirects.

    I encountered this problem just as I was updating to the latest WordPress version + the latest version of this plugin. Deactivating the plugin, naturally, solves the redirect problem. I also deactivated all other plugins. Changing to different themes doesn’t seem to help either.

    I even tried resaving permalinks options. Note that permalinks have always been the same and I am using the default wordpress category base. No changes in wp core files were made after upgrade.

    Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I get this as well, I’m also finding that the plugin is redirecting the homepage to the latest post. If the latest post isn’t redirected then it is OK. Although it still redirects a category to the latest blog post.

    I’m using the latest version of WordPress.

    Version 4.2 should fix this issue – please let me know if it doesn’t or you find any other issue.
