Categories redirects to homepage

    Whenever I click on a product category it redirects me to the homepage (when not logged in) or the Dashboard (when logged in as admin). I’ve determined that it must be related to the theme somehow, as the issue goes away when switching to 2019 theme, but I can’t see any code in the theme that would cause this. I’ve even emptied functions.php and it still occurs.

    Has anyone encountered this? Any idea where I should look?

    Update: further troubleshooting has led me to see that if I either a) disable Ultimate Member, or b) switch to 2019 theme, the product category works.

    Not both, just either one or the other. ???

    That sounds very strange!

    I’d recommend reaching out to the theme’s developer, and/or the Ultimate Member team – they’d be more likely to know what’s going wrong in this case.

    Since you were able to identify that the problem was with the Ultimate Member plugin and/or the theme, as Hannah mentioned above, it might be a good idea to reach out to their respective support folks. They should be able to help and guide you to the bottom of this.
