Categories show full posts instead of excerpts

  • I am having a problem where my category pages are showing full posts instead of excerpts. Excerpts used to display properly, but now they are not and I’m not sure what caused the change. I recently disabled the Jetpack plugin, but I don’t think this should have affected the theme display… Any ideas on how to fix this?

    The posts in the link show up with the “Continue reading” link. Did you solve your issue?

    Hello,

    The issue seems to resolve itself when I have Jetpacked installed. I had previously uninstalled it which caused the category problem, but it gets fixed when Jetpack is reactivated. Do you know why this might be? I am thinking of taking Jetpack off my site in the future, but then the problem comes back.
