Categories sitemap not generated

    Under WordPress standard content:, I have ticked include Categories, but I am still only able to see Page and Post sitemap in the sitemap.xml file. I have tried to change the frequency and permalinks settings but it’s also not updating my sitemap. Is there a way to regenerate the sitemap? Otherwise, how long will it take for the sitemap to update?
