Categories Widget on Front Page to Show Images?

If you look at the example preview of the Jolene theme: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/jolene/ , you will notice that it has images on the side bars and in the center content. I set my site to display categories on the sidebar and the center: dealsreachlife.com But when the categories’ posts are displayed, none of the posts’ images show up; only the title and the description show up on the front page.

Is there a way to enable images to show up in the widget when people are viewing the front page?
