Categorization of plugins

  • Hey there,

    There are over 60K plugins available for WordPress, but finding the right one can turn into a nightmare. The 60,000 plugins are packed into a massive 1,500-page list, and if you can’t find the right search term, you’re screwed. There is no categorisation, there is no directory system, there are no keywords, no sorting or filtering results by ratings, number of installs or by the compatibility to a specific WP version.

    I think this was fine with 600 plugins, but with 60K it seriously needs attention.
