Category & Dashboard Problems

When I try deleting categories, it turns fully red, than once you think its going to delete, it sputters and turns a tomatoe-y red.

At the bottom it says I have ajax problems.

On the dashboard under the Latest Activity header it says:

Where the updates are supposed to be it says

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /tiffany/wp-admin/index-extra.php could not be found on this server.

I’ve tried reinstalling WordPress, no luck. I remember having problems like this before, and there was a snippet of code to put in my htaccess, I can’t find that topic.
