Category Base Removing

  • Well, i found lots of plugins to remove the category base from the url. Heres a problem which still continues.. with normal categories and posts, they all work fine but when there comes in a subcategory.. wordpress couldnt find the posts incl in that subcategory. Forexample;

    when you hit a category named “life”.. it displays all the posts incl in it

    Category:
    LIFE

    url structure.. (www.mydomain.com/life/posts) it works fine

    but with;

    Category:
    LIFE
    Subcategory:
    TODAY

    url structure.. (www.mydomain.com/life/today/posts) doesnt work

    anybody found a category base removing plugin that work find with subcategories as well?

  • No, nobody found and nobody was able to come up with one.
    WP needs the category base. So it will not work.
