Category blog url 404

CATEGORY BLOG: https://www.domain.com/blog/category-name

The default structure for blog categories in WordPress is like this: yourdomain.com/category-name/

If it doesn’t work, you should check the permalink structure because you may have changed it.
If you go to Settings > Permalinks and scroll down to the last option, your links should look like in this screenshot. — Note: My link structure is in Spanish

If you want to change the structure, you could try adding /blog/category-name/ in the categories field inside the Permalinks.

I get 404 error, I understand that it is due to the conflict of using the same slug for two different types of content, is there no way to make it work?

I think I have found the solution to your problem.
You must use a custom structure and add the following: /blog/%postname%.

Then, in categories structure, just add %category%.

I leave you a screenshot. That should work for you.
