You can add MLA support for Categories, Tags and other custom taxonomies.
- Navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab.
- Scroll down to the “Taxonomy Support” section.
- Check the “Support” column for any taxonomy you want to see in the Media/Assistant submenu table.
- Check the “Inline Edit” column if you want to use the Quick Edit and Bulk Edit areas to assign taxonomy terms to your Media Library items.
- Check the “Term Search” column to enable searching on the keywords in taxonomy term names.
- For flat taxonomies like Tags, check the “Checklist” column if you prefer a checklist interface over the standard “textbox/auto-suggest” interface.
- Uncheck the “Checked on top” column if you want to preserve the order and hierarchy placement of terms assigned to your items.
- Click the “List Filter” radio button for the taxonomy you want to use for the taxonomy filter dropdown list on the Media/Assistant submenu.
If you have checked the “Support” box for a taxonomy and it still doesn’t appear in your Media/assistant submenu table, pull down the Screen Options at the upper right corner of the screen and make sure the checkbox to the left of your taxonomy is checked.
