    Hi,
    Firstly what a great plugin!
I have a number of media items to categorise and I was hoping to have the category column on the Assistant screen so I know which ones I have already set. I have tried using the “Admin Columns” plugin however this only changes the main library screen. I have also look at the Custom Fields but cannot find the column required. Any help would be appreciated.
    Regards

Thanks for the good words and for your question.

You can add MLA support for Categories, Tags and other custom taxonomies.

    1. Navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant General tab.
    2. Scroll down to the “Taxonomy Support” section.
    3. Check the “Support” column for any taxonomy you want to see in the Media/Assistant submenu table.
    4. Check the “Inline Edit” column if you want to use the Quick Edit and Bulk Edit areas to assign taxonomy terms to your Media Library items.
    5. Check the “Term Search” column to enable searching on the keywords in taxonomy term names.
    6. For flat taxonomies like Tags, check the “Checklist” column if you prefer a checklist interface over the standard “textbox/auto-suggest” interface.
    7. Uncheck the “Checked on top” column if you want to preserve the order and hierarchy placement of terms assigned to your items.
    8. Click the “List Filter” radio button for the taxonomy you want to use for the taxonomy filter dropdown list on the Media/Assistant submenu.

If you have checked the “Support” box for a taxonomy and it still doesn’t appear in your Media/assistant submenu table, pull down the Screen Options at the upper right corner of the screen and make sure the checkbox to the left of your taxonomy is checked.

That should get you the results you want. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if I didn’t understand the question or if you need any additional help with adding taxonomy features to your MLA settings. Thanks for you interest in the plugin.

Thanks for the quick response – worked a treat – I forgot to select the “Screen Option”
