    I noticed that when I add a category field to the form and use the text input I can’t add a new category. I suppose that shouldn’t be a surprise as there is no way to do that in the naive post editor either. So I wonder if maybe the pro version of wpuf has a solution for front end category, or even custom tax management?

    I did find a plugin for front end category management, It works like it says and it’s great, but just wondering if wpuf pro has something like that.

    This is a plugin called “Front end categories management”
    It uses a shortcode which I put in the page template for the wpuf edit page only. I didn’t put it in the post page because It can’t assign a new category on post publish, you have to make the category first, which is fine. It’s only for categories, tags and custom tax would be ideal.
